I'm an assistant professor of English in the Writing, Rhetorics, and Literacies program at Arizona State University. My research focuses on digital and mobile writing technologies, including augmented reality and locative-media applications. My current project, Mobilizing Digital Rhetorics: Emerging Modalities of Location-Based Writing, proposes a methodology for creating location-based digital writing projects with mobile technologies. In addition to my research projects, I also serve as an Augmented Reality Criticisms Coordinator for Trace Innovation, a digital rhetoric initiative at the University of Florida.
